This Treatise on the source of eternal truths has vital importance for the observance of Schelling's late thinking, as well as for understanding the end of the tradition of German Idealism. Here we can clearly see the innovative position of Schelling's late philosophy in relation to the tradition of post-Kantian philosophy. Through this, this text also becomes a paradigm for understanding the emergence of the various subsequent attempts to overcome the great philosophical systems. Finding the space for being and for contingency at the expense of thinking and the systematic amorphism appears here as the ultimate goal.
