Who are Eduardo Galeano’s “the nobodies” within the Democratic rule of Law?
Abstract
The present article aims to run through the dialogism between the poetic prose of “The Nobodies”, by Eduardo Galeano, and the democratic rule of law, so as to analyse their irrelevance for the State and the reason of why they gain priority in the literary discourse. In order to carry out the research, we entered into the area of Law and Literary Studies for a complementary and sociological purpose, in order to introduce the debate about the democratic State and its practical implications. The theoretical foundation of the present work is laid out by the names of Lenio Streck and Antonio Candido.
