The Natural Right in Ethica Nicomachea and Magna Moralia
Abstract
My article purports to analyze the passages of EN and MM in which Aristotle deals with the theme of natural right. As these passages are complex, they have generated quite a disagreement among commentators about how to interpret the character of natural right as existing everywhere. The focus of this article will consist in taking the position of the commentators as a starting point for defending the claim that natural right is changeable.
