The present work aims to analyze how prejudiced gender stereotypes lead to testimonial injustices. To this end, we dedicate ourselves to defining testimonial injustice based on Miranda Fricker, using cases of sexual assault as a central example. Subsequently, we seek to understand how gender stereotypes are created and their epistemic impact on women's lives due to their discredit as providers of knowledge and/or belief and as epistemic agents.
